Two audiobooks to prepare you for the Church Synod.

We have been invited by Pope Francis to embark on a journey together towards a synodal church, to reflect together on how we can live communion, actively participate, and open ourself to mission amidst the complexities of the world today.
In his World Mission Sunday message, Pope Francis reminds us that “To be on mission is to be willing to think as Christ does, to believe with him that those around us are also my brothers and sisters.”
As an aid for this synod, a highly recommended book is Pope Francis’ encyclical on fraternity and social friendship, Fratelli Tutti, now available as an audio book so you can listen to it as you commute, walk, cycle, wherever you are. Also on audio book is Nostra Aetate, the ever relevant Vatican II document on our relationship with other religions. Both available on audible, audiobooks and wherever great books are heard! (Soon also on Spotify and Apple Music.)
Listen to sample of both books on Audible  or Audiobooks

During our Meet the Sisters session to celebrate World Day of Prayer for Vocations, we drew inspiration from the letter of Pope Francis
This was followed by a Q & A session with the participants.
A big thanks to the Sisters who participated in this event and all the young ladies who joined us.

The Bible is God’s letter, our heavenly Father’s letter.
He has given it to us with the infinite love of a Father,
we must read it with all the love of children.
The Bible is the book that we have to give,
whether it be through film or print, through radio or records,
through filmstrips or other forms.
- Blessed James Alberione

Celebrate the Pauline Bible Year (Nov 26 2020 - 2021) with us!
“Walking with the Church, we renew ourselves through familiarity,
study and prayerful reading of the Sacred Scriptures, in order to live the Word of God
so that it reaches everyone, especially those on the existential and thought peripheries.”

The Pauline Family all around the world is celebrating Bible Year!
Join us in Singapore as we read the Bible with our Pauline Cooperators
at 8.30pm every night from Dec 1 2020.

Explanation of the logo
The logo is inspired by two biblical images:
the sower (Lk. 8:4-15) and the runner (1 Co. 9:24).
Both biblical references indicate an action to be carried out with a sense of responsibility and urgency.
The sower must sow in such a way as to expect an abundant harvest in due time.
The runner, after sufficient preparation, must win the race.
The combination of these two references brings us to the theme of the Pauline Family’s Year of the Bible:
“that the Word of the Lord may speed forward” (2 Thes. 3:1).
The sower, depicted as leaning forward, tosses into the air 10 seeds
symbolizing the 10 branches of the Pauline Family.
The different sizes of the seeds and the different directions in which they move
indicate the different services of the various branches of the Pauline Family
and the different spheres of society in which they have been called to root themselves.
Red is the universal color of zeal and passion.
The color of blood, it motivates us to fix our gaze on an urgent goal: that the Word of the Lord might be disseminated far and wide.

Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.
Romans 12:12
